Moderately successful evening at 12 Bar... The lighting was very red which made life pretty tricky overall - some half decent shots, but nothing worth of portfolio inclusion! Played around with some different settings though, so it was beneficial in that respect!

I will be heading down to the 12 bar on Wednesday to take some more shots... this time my friends' band "King of Spain" are playing, so hoping to get some decent ones!

Im hoping to go onto university and study photography so anybody out there can give me any advice as to improve my chances on getting in please feel free as to share it with me - it would be appreciated also if anyone knows of any bands i could perhaps take photos of? I was able to get passes for the Grizzly Bear show at the Fillmore in SF on Monday. I was really fortunate as this was the last night of their 30-date Spring tour all over the world, headlining festivals and playing sold out concerts.
